Jedes Jahr fahren verschiedene Vereinsmitglieder unseres Vereins zu nationalen und internationalen Wettbewerben. Besonders unsere Junioren sind auf zentralen Wettbewerben immer mit vorn, was uns gewissermaßen Stolz macht und auch für unsere Ausbildung spricht.
Im Jahr 2015 konnten sich Fabian Peitz und Dennis van Deest-Behnke für die Nationalmannschaft der Clubklasse qualifizieren. Somit fliegen auf dem Höpen gleich 2 Mitglieder der Deutschen Nationalmannschaft Segelflug.
